PVC Process Technology Summary

PVC (Poly Vinyl Chloride) is an organic polymer made by polymerizing VCM (Vinyl Chloride Monomer). There are three basic polymerization processes used to produce PVC commercially - bulk, emulsion and suspension. Of the three, the suspension method is the most widely used and is the process technology of PMPC. The following is an overview of the suspension PVC process technology of PMPC PLANT.

VCM, water, additives and initiator are added to the pressure reactor. The quantities of these ingredients are measured to a very high degree of accuracy. This minimizes batch to batch variability from the reactors.

As a result of the polymerization, heat is generated during this exothermic reaction. This heat must be removed to maintain the correct reaction temperature by using cooling water. With Distributed Control System (DCS) and state of the art temperature control schemes, we are able to maintain the reaction temperature very close to set-point.

The reaction is stopped when the proper conversion from VCM to PVC is achieved. Once again, sophisticated measurements permit a consistently accurate endpoint determination. Once the reaction is terminated, the reactor content which includes the unreacted VCM, water and PVC particle (Slurry) was discharged to Blowdown Vessel. Most of unreacted VCM was recovered at Blowdown Vessel. Then PVC slurry and unreacted VCM are pumped to Stripper Feed Vessel (the stripping column feed tank). At this point the process switches from batch operation to continuous operation. The column feed tank serves as a surge tank between the batch reactors and the continuous slurry stripping column.

In the column feed tank, unreacted VCM is partially recovered for recycle. The remaining VCM is removed in the slurry stripping column and sent to recovery. This recovered VCM is condensed, stored and used in subsequent reactions.

From the stripping column the slurry is pumped and stored in Slurry Tank, and then it passes through a continuous centrifuge to remove the majority of the water. The wetcake drops from the centrifuge and enters the dryer by rotary feeder. Fluid bed Dryer is provided to dry product to required moisture.

At the discharge of the dryer, the PVC was screened to remove any oversized resin. Finally, the PVC resin is pneumatically transferred to the two silos.Under the two silos, three bagging line are provided to bag PVC resin into the 25Kg paper bag.

Spect. nguyên liệu đầu vào của nhà máy DQuat như thế nào hả bạn? Cho tớ 1 ít thông tin được không?

Hien nay NMLD Dung Quat dang hoat dong voi 100 cong suat la dau bach ho. do do ham luong S rat thap. tuy nhien theo du bao thi thoi gian toi thi mo BH se DIE. do do viec chuan bi phuong an chuyen doi sang su dung dau chua (Dau trung dong) pha tron voi ti le 5,5 : 1. dieu nay rat nhieu van de cna phia tinh toan va xemxet truoc kkhi dua vao van hanh. Dieu nay thi chi co tap doan moi quyet dinh duoc, tuy thuoc vao MONEY thoi....

Hình như ben cty mình dang nhan nhiem vu dam phan voi Venezuela ve van de mua nguon dau tho ben ay de cung cap cho nhà máy và thue loc. Tớ nghi rang nguồn dau tho BH hiên nay rat co gia tren thi truong Tgioi nen Tap doan se ban dau tho BH và chuyen sang mua nguon dau tho khac de nhà may loc. Khong biet cong nghe cua nha may co dap ung duoc cac nguon dầu thô chua tren tgioi nhu Trung đông hay nguon cua Venezuela

Thank nhe, dua thoi, ve quang ngai xa qua di a, voi lai bay gio nha cua, vo con o trong nay roi, dau co bay nhay gi dc. tui bay ngoai do gang suc xay dung mien trung nhe. Hoan nghenh doi ngu hoa dau ve xay dung mien trung (ma k ve do biat di dau bay gio, hehe). To cung dong gop mot thang em ve do day. Cac ban nho chi bao no giup to nhe. nghe noi thang em lam o cracking.
